Going Green

Going green?
So as we all know, many Americans are going green. They are conserving water, planting trees, and cutting back on a lot of pollutants, but my question is: What are people in OTHER countries doing in order to Go Green?
I’m sure all major countries are promoting the idea of going green. In America our major problem is our driving habits. we use more gas than anyother country but now I see lots of people are avoid the cars and using public transportation to save some money and creates less pollution. Same with the England, Canada, Russia, Japan etc. Lots of people are using public transportation. Now we can’t expect countries from africa to do something about going green because some of the countries in africa haven’t even developed yet. Some countries in Africa don’t have hot water pipeline, don’t have electricity, don’t have education system and so on. Some of the countries like china and india are still pushing for full development. What I’m trying to say is that no matter how hard we try our pollution level will be going up for few more decades. Our major hopes comes from developing new ideas to pollute less pollution. Scientist across the world are working in labs to come up with some energy source that does not pollute our enviroment. Recently, japan came up with car that uses hydrogen and electricity and release water instead. Some of the hybrid car give 500 miles/gallon of gas. Some are coming with idea of using cooking oil to produce gas. We sure can conserve water, plant trees, cut back on our bad habits to help us go green but we can’t go back in time where there was no electricity, no transport system, no communication etc. What we can do is educate as much people as we could and then come up with process system that doesn’t pollute our surrounding while at the same time fulfill our needs and im sure in near future we will come up with system that doesn’t pollute our earth.

Bells Are Ringing may not be among composer Jule Styne’s top-drawer scores, but the show benefits from Comden and Green’s reliably zany book and lyrics (it’s simply impossible not to crack up at songs like “Mu-Cha-Cha”),… |
